We’re happy to announce the upcoming 2010 Growing Season! We’re looking for new members to join our growing community to enjoy weekly shares of colorful and delicious organic vegetables! We’re Certified Naturally Grown, a process that’s based on the National Organic Standards and sanctioned by grassroots folks like you and I. Throw us a line, give us a call, or better yet: set up a time to come see the garden and meet your growers. We’d be happy to answer any questions you may have! We can’t wait to be your farmer!

Second Annual Member Harvest Pot-Luck!

thumbnailCAB63EURGood Life Valley Farm wishes to thank our 2009 supporting members!! As we are a new business, we welcome all feedback so we can continue to make improvements to our operation!  This year we all received vegetables for a record 18 weeks! We planted 135 varieties as seeds, weathered the challenging wet weather and Late Blight, proudly harvested about 90 vigorous assortments of vegetables and herbs, and ate well from our own back yard! A fellow CSA member helped to design our website and it was online within weeks making it easier for our eating community to keep informed. Our first GLVF Localvore Potluck Challenge was a great success bringing together farmers and community members alike with local food efforts in mind. Next year, we are making several revisions to our delivery schedule, upgrading our packaging/ washing facilities, and have already planted cover crops on a new acre of donated land!! Also, our Working Membership will be more structured and CHEAPER! Please let us know what you loved, what you’d like to happen next year, and how next year can be even better!!

Thank You for your support of a GOOD THING!!!

Join us this Saturday , October 17 at 5pm for our Third Annual Good Life Valley Farm Harvest Pot Luck! pumpkin Show us your best by bringing a dish to pass and something for yourself to drink. Let’s meet and greet each other over food and share conversation by the fire! Dress for the weather!

Address: 3206 East Hill Road, North Troy VT 05859

Call for directions! See you there!

Ahh…Fall is Upon Us!!

Natalie's Pics 169School has begun and this seedy farmer teaches at a high school! This being said and understood leads us to change our delivery day to MONDAY!! Working members and farmers alike will now be meeting on Sunday from 9- noon to harvest. We’ll get your shares to you ASAP thereafter.

Last week we got down to 35 degrees and noted some frost-bitten plants while we harvested on Sunday. This week promises some gorgeous and sunny days.  If we cross our fingers collectively maybe we can stave off the cold for another few weeks!!

Please contact us with any comments, questions, or concerns!! We love feedback!

Canning season approaches. We’re attempting to lock in a date for a canning workshop! If you are interested, please contact me via our “contact” page.

Bon Appetite!

Thanks!! What a success!
