About

Good Life Valley Farm has been owned and operated by Natalie Gaines and Corey Guillette for six years providing families with colorful seasonal vegetables, recipes for preparing even more obscure types, and a frequently updated website that provides an open forum for community discussion and connections.
She has a BFA from Plattsburgh State University with a concentration in painting. While there, she was also a strong student in Women’s Studies and Geology; it is obvious upon meeting her that her love of these subjects grows like her garden!

She currently works at North Country Union High School as an educator in the Fine Arts Department. She formed and is the Head Coach of the NCUHS Varsity and JV Snowboard team which travels all over Vermont to reach their competitions. She teaches adult art classes through the North Country Career Center. She also rejuvenated an Art Club that allows students to expand their artistic horizons each week after school. She also loves to milk Organic Dairy cows at Spring Brook Farm in Westfield in the evenings. She is the proud owner of 5 dairy cows, too!
Corey is a true farmer at heart. While he works at Jay Peak as a Head Supervisor in Snowmaking while also operating a groomer in the off-season, he maintains our small and growing herd of cattle. He also is a skilled craftsman and carpenter who has built commissioned post and beam structures, refinished roofs, re-sided homes, sheet-rocked intricate homes, and anything else that needed to be done: and he did (and does) it well!
We do all this while loving to grow delicious, safe, and healthy food FOR YOU!!! Hey, in the NEK why NOT love all that you do?!
Natalie and Corey wear many hats and wish to make each of these skills tie into one successful business through their farming endeavors. They also hope to and are slowly incorporating the Special Needs population into their volunteer-working members in their CSA.
“Not only do I love animals, I love the artistic aspects of all life! The food I grow is colorful with intention! Purple Carrots, Yellow Beets, and colorful Salad Greens abound and your weekly share will burst with nature’s palette! Come grow and eat with us!”
– Natalie, Proud Owner and Operator of GLVFCSA
